Only a couple of times during my childhood. But this reminds me of my older brother one time, he was about the same age as your son. He got that ball of snow going and he lost it. It rolled all the way down our sloped yard right into the creek. But it sure was BIG by the time it got to the creek. That is my childhood memory of snow.
