Sledding in the Backyard
We have a tiny hill in the corner of our backyard which husband always hates when it comes time for mowing. But last week when we received our snowfall....that hill redeemed itself by providing our family with the perfect place for sledding! We had laugh-out loud fun and even let out a few Wheee's along the way! We took turns sledding with eachother and then sometimes took a solo trip down the hill. Our kids really needed to experience what it feels like to go sledding, and so I'm thankful for that little hill in the corner of our backyard. I think husband looks at it a little differently now, too. At least maybe until spring & summer arrive and mowing season starts.

The post yesterday and today are wonderful. Sleds used to go unsold around here and did for many years and now the stores didn't have any because of the disinterest in them in the past. So lots of kids were sliding on everything from trash can lids to those round plastic things they can't control. LOL
